KSP TO INTRODUCE NEW RESULT PROCESSING SOFTWARE

In its efforts to ease processing and prompt release of students’ results, the Management of Kano State Polytechnic, under the able leadership of Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa, is set to introduce a newly developed common software for all the five unit schools of the Institution. Prior to this development, virtually all the schools were operating independent software for students’ results.

In a workshop organized by the Management and anchored by ALGADON Software Developers to all the Chief Examinations Officers, Departmental Examinations Officers and the Polytechnic Academic Board, Business Committee members with a view to access the software, the Rector of the Polytechnic ably represented by his agile deputy, Dr. Muhammad Umar Kibiya, stated that the concept of the workshop was to access the software, address issues peculiar to result processing problems and  come up with a common or unique software for the Institution.

Dr. Kibiya urged the participants to pay attention, as it was a unique opportunity to come together to address institutional issues which will reduce a lot of problems pertaining to results preparation, deliberation and approval.

On behalf of the management, the organizers and the MIS, Dr. Kibiya declared the workshop opened at about 11:00 am.
